Interior Stair Railing Modification
In an effort to provide more openness on the first floor, improve aesthetics, and reduce construction costs I spent this past working to modify the half wall and railing at the stair and stair opening on the first and second floor to be all wood railings with 4x4 newel posts and iron spindles painted black to match the kitchen cabinets and exterior iron railings. I am still in the process of incorporating these changes into the construction drawings, but was able to generate a rendering of what the new railing system would look like, which is shown below
