Horizontal Wood Fence Designs
A side project I am taking on for the Starter Home 2.0 separate from the base home construction contract with Mike Brown Construction, is building a new privacy fence to replace the chain link fence currently sitting on the rear property line. Approximately 45' in length, my plan is to construct a 6' high horizontal wood fence with 4x4 posts spaced 6' on center, clad in 1x6 redwood, cedar or oak planks, similar the image shown below. I was given contact information for a fence contractor that was highly recommended by my builder last week, so I am going to try and get something set up with him later today to get this project rolling.
