Exterior CFL Upgrade
This weekend I replaced a burned out incandescent bulb in one of the patio light fixtures and relocated the other to inside the garage so that I could be consistent and replace both lamps with a pair of exterior rated compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. While they take a few seconds to get to their full brightness, I am quite pleased with the amount of light they give off and their soft white color quality. The energy savings of compact fluorescent lights vs. the incandescent bulbs is another nice bonus. Now I just need to get some patio furniture to enjoy this nice illuminated outdoor living space.
