Wasson Way Project Update
A sleeping giant that I believe is going to become a huge selling point for Cincinnati homes and driver of new commercial developments in the Oakley, Hyde Park and Evanston Neighborhoods in the near future is the opening of the 7.6 mile long Wasson Way Mixed-Use Trail (a conversion of an abandoned rail line) that starts at Xavier University to the west and runs east through stretches of woods, residential streets and neighborhood business districts, to connect with the existing Little Miami Bike trail in Mariemont, ultimately accessing an additional 30+ miles of walking and bike trails. Set to open shortly after the completion of the Oakley Home 2.0 @ 3874 Isabella and within 1/2 mile of the property itself, Oakley Home 2.0 residents will be in prime position to take full advantage of all this trail has to offer.
Below are some images from the Wasson Way Facebook page, which has an extensive photo gallery with regular updates on the progress of the trail.
