Home Tour Takeaways
One of my favorite summertime family traditions growing up in Cincinnati was going to the annual Homearama showcase put on every year by the local Home Builders Association. This tradition continued yesterday when we all took a trip out to the 2017 edition at Rivercrest. Below are a couple of takeaways as it relates to the Oakley Home 2.0 project.
Takeaway #1: There are a lot of similarities between the five $1,100,000+ Homearama homes and the Oakley Home 2.0 in terms of products and materials. Among them are writable white board walls (shown in the image below), 4 panel sliding doors, quartz countertops, composite decking, and hardwoord floors.
Takeaway #2: There a few selections that caught my eye as finishes that will be considered for implementation into the Oakley Home 2.0 project. Namely, white cabinetry with the light gray countertops and the mid-tone hardwood floor (pictured below).
