Roof Trusses Delivered
Friday the framing crew was able to set all of the second floor joists, install the OSB floor sheathing, and erect the first exterior wall on the second floor. The roof trusses for the house and detached garage also arrived on site, which should be ready to be installed early next week. Visiting the site, it is nice to be able to begin to get an idea for what the house is going to feel like when it is complete and so far I'm very happy with the daylight and spatial qualities of the home. A big revelation for me has been realizing that the feeling I get walking through the actual house is very much the same that I get with the virtual walkthroughs and renderings from the Revit model, which really validates the software's value as a design tool.
