Garage, Basement & Bathroom Drywall Install
Saturday was day 2 of the drywall hanging process and by the afternoon, all the major areas of the home had been sheathed, concluding with the garage, basement and bathroom pictured below. In the end 3 different types of drywall were hung in the home with standard 1/2" drywall being used for all living areas (except for bathrooms), 1/2" moisture resistant (green tinted) drywall in the bathrooms, and 5/8" type-x fire resistant drywall in the garage, which is required by code.
