Drywall Work Underway
After getting the all clear from the LEED for Homes Green Rater that the Oakley Home 2.0 was sufficiently insulated and sealed to guard against any unwanted air leakage, thermal transfer or condensation, drywall work was able to get started Friday morning. At the end of the day about 75% of the interior walls and ceilings were sheathed, radically transforming the look and feel of the home. Despite being a dark and rainy day in Cincinnati, the home remained full of natural light, so I'm excited to see what it is like in all the different spaces on a clear day (which I think will warrant a new video walkthrough in upcoming days).
